An integrated value chain from farm to final market

01Aggregation & Sourcing

Commodity Aggregation & Sourcing

LLV operates a highly coordinated aggregation and sourcing system that directly resolves supply bottlenecks in Northern Nigeria. We aggregate premium grain, oilseed, and other agricultural commodities directly from our audited network of smallholder farmers. This reduces raw material sourcing risks for industrial food and feed processors, delivering quality consistency and price stability.

  • Structured sourcing from 2,500+ active smallholder farmers.
  • Rigorous pre-harvest and post-harvest quality checks.
  • Traceability from farm-gate to industrial delivery.
  • Mitigated transaction risks through local buying agents.

Processing (Toll-Milling Model)

To maximize value extraction and expand export potentials, LLV utilizes a highly efficient toll-milling processing model. Rather than maintaining heavy capital overheads, we partner with state-of-the-art regional processing plants. Our primary focus is producing premium, export-grade refined shea butter, sesame oils, and other high-demand agricultural derivatives.

  • Asset-light toll-milling processing for flexible production volumes.
  • Refined shea butter produced to international cosmetics standards.
  • Strict sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) standards compliance.
  • Sourced from local organic shea tree populations in Taraba.

Warehousing & Storage

Post-harvest losses are one of the greatest obstacles to agricultural margins in Africa. LLV combats this through a network of strategic storage warehouses. Currently boasting a total storage capacity of 150,000+ MT across farm-gates and regional hubs, we keep commodities secure, dry, and preserved. This allows us to maintain a consistent supply year-round, regardless of seasonal variations.

  • 150,000+ MT total storage capacity across primary hubs.
  • Climate-monitored, pest-resistant warehouse spaces.
  • Strategic farm-gate storage centers situated in Taraba State.
  • Inventory tracking via our digital logistics platform.

Technology Platform (Digital Supply Chain)

At the core of LLV's scalability is our custom-built digital supply chain platform. The platform maps farmer fields, tracks inventory across our warehouse networks in real-time, and registers raw material quality details. This database enables full batch-level traceability, giving institutional investors and international buyers unparalleled supply chain transparency.

  • GIS-based farmer network mapping and yield estimation.
  • Real-time warehouse inventory and quality records.
  • Batch-level grain and oilseed traceability metrics.
  • Transparent digital records matching IFRS and corporate standards.
